Glee Needs to Get Real
October 3, 2011

Team Colours member and Rutgers University alumna Santina Muha — winner of the Ms. Wheelchair New Jersey pageant and star of a new documentary — is an ardent advocate for casting people with “disabilities” in light of what is possible, not what can’t be done. Muha has a bone to pick with Glee. It’s not that she doesn’t watch the Fox network show, or enjoy it, or applaud the producers’ decision to create a character in a wheelchair. It’s just that the actor who plays that character doesn’t have a disability in real life, and that rankles Muha DC’06. “There are so many actors out there who really use wheelchairs and who are struggling to get parts,” she says. “It’s frustrating when one of those rare roles is given away to an actor who can walk.” Read the full story.

Taking it to the Extreme
April 11, 2011

While some manufacturers may label us too "extreme" or "controversial", we take that as a compliment. We are proud to be pushing the envelope in terms of design, technologyand attitude. We take our products seriously by designing them to enhance your quality and spirit of life. Colours Wheelchair offers more than just a look – an exciting, daring approach to life.

Colours is not just a manufacturing company, but a movement. We constantly challenge ourselves so you can challenge yourself to live life to the fullest. Not only are our designs and technology cutting edge, our support team is without equal.

A lifetime warranty on all rigid parts gives you the freedom to concentrate on the important things in life. A personal phone support line gives you the security that a few companies can match. That's because Colours is not just a manufacturer but a goal driven mission. We want the world to realize what you already know...that there is life after disability. We hereby serve notice to the world that Colours 'N Motion is a passport to living and celebrating life in a way previously unimaginable.
