Riding High

“The DT Network is brilliant,” says Louise Niven of the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association. “The CANTRA Channel brings our membership together regardless of geographical barriers. The network brings many different disability communities together to learn about one another and share information.”CanTRA is a registered charity that promotes challenge, achievement and empowerment for children and adults with disabilities through the use of the horse. Approximately 100 member centres across Canada provide quality therapeutic, recreation, life skills and sport programs (see Therapy category).
