June 29, 2012 - The automotive experts here at Bussani Mobility Team are now offering an option for your wheelchair accessible vehicle that could save your life!
It’s called the Firetrace in-car fire suppression system. And here’s why it’s important.
Fires in vehicles present special challenges for both detection and suppression. Road grime, dirt and airflow can create unpredictable environments that can be harmful to most automatic fire suppression systems — and these threats can make it difficult to extinguish a vehicle fire.
The Firetrace system was specially designed to work inside vehicles. So, when a fire is detected, its unique polymer composite tubing bursts releasing its extinguishing agents – and the fire is suppressed much faster than it would be using manual suppression.
“No one wants to think about getting into an accident or a car fire, but sometimes these things do happen. And people with physical disabilities have added challenges to deal with when responding in these types of situations,” said Daniel Bussani, Vice President at Bussani Mobility Team. “The Firetrace system puts some of the power back in the hands of our customers. It gives them the safety of knowing that if anything would happen, they have a reliable way to help save their lives as the system automatically detects and extinguishes the fire.”
Bussani Mobility Team is the first dealer of wheelchair accessible vans in the New York area to offer the Firetrace system as an optional add-on feature. Call 866-524-8267 if you want to know more.
